About okaycab

A ride-hailing app built from a small district, for small districts.

okaycab started with a simple observation: the big ride apps were built for Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru first — and towns like ours came last, if at all. We're building it the other way round.

Why we're building this.

Get around Araria and nearby towns and you'll notice the pattern: shared autos flagged down at random, fares negotiated on the spot, and no real way to know how long a ride will actually take. okaycab exists to replace that guesswork with something you can see on a screen — a fare before you book, a driver you can track, and a trip you can share with someone who cares where you are.

We're not trying to out-feature the big national apps. We're trying to fit this place properly: the vehicles people already drive, the lanes those vehicles actually fit down, and fares that make sense for a Tier-3 town rather than a metro.

Home base

Araria, Bihar

One goal

A ride you can trust, every time

What we build around.

Four ideas that shape every decision, from the app's fare screen to how we onboard drivers.

Safety first

Verified drivers, live tracking, and an SOS button that's never more than a tap away.

Fair to drivers

Transparent commission, visible earnings, and fuel support — a partner, not just a platform.

Local-first

Designed for how India actually moves, not a one-size-fits-all city app.

No surprises

The fare you see before booking is the fare you pay, barring a genuine change of route.

Where things stand today.

okaycab hasn't launched yet — here's honestly where we are in getting there.

Building the app

Rider and driver apps are in active development, alongside live GPS tracking and safety features.

Onboarding drivers

We're registering and verifying early bike, auto, and cab drivers around Araria ahead of launch.

Getting launch-ready

Once we have enough verified drivers in place, okaycab opens to riders — starting from home.
